Chemo today

Celeste's platelets are 96 this morning! This means we are staying for chemotherapy today.

Bonemarrow specialists from LDS hospital will contact us to start process of determining if Celeste is a good candidate for transplant.

Celeste was diagnosed with Non-Hodgkin Lymphoma at the end of June. It was discovered when she went to the doctors due to a high fever and constant nausea (which they originally thought was caused by her gallbladder). After waiting a long two and a half weeks for the results of the biopsy the doctors were able to determine exactly what type of cancer and what stage it was at.

Results from biopsy: Stage 3, Atypical lymphohistiocytic proliferation, consistent with a B-cell lymphoma with plasmacytic differntation, not further classifiable.
